2W-1 Single Station Decoder for use with Rain Bird ESP-2WIRE Controller

2W-1 Decoder continue Rain Bird’s legacy of the best-in-class 2-wire experience with an approachable platform for projects up to 50 stations. With new Decoder Auto-Address functionality, all decoders connected to the 2-wire path are found and assigned to stations automatically providing significant time savings.

Features

• Decoder Auto Address – The ESP-2WIRE Controller detects decoder addresses connected to the 2-wire path and automatically assigns them to station numbers for significant time savings.
• Each 2W-1 Decoder has a red/green/blue LED for status indication for each individual decoder.

Easiest & Fastest Decoder Programming Available

1. For fastest programming, organize decoders in numerical order by address. The master valve (or station 1 if there is no MV) should be the lowest decoder address in sequence and the highest decoder address should belong to the last station
   in sequence.
2. Label decoders with the station number according to this sequence.
3. Install decoders in the field in this order, connecting the 2 blue wires to the 2-wire path and the black wires to the station valve solenoid.
4. Turn controller dial to 2-wire settings, follow onscreen prompts and all decoder addresses will be programmed in a matter of seconds.

After decoders are programmed, the ESP-2WIRE Controller programs just like the ESP-ME3. With no special wire, wire connector or grounding requirements, contractors can now take advantage of all 2-wire benefits with a familiar platform that’s easy to install and program.
