When stormwater causes flooding on playgrounds and playing fields, or in parking lots and shopping plazas, it’s a sign the excess water isn’t able to properly drain. If the problem isn’t fixed, it can lead to safety hazards and sinkholes, not to mention eroding asphalt and costly damage to the property. NDS 24” Catch Basin collects water and directs it to connected drain pipes; the pipes carry the water to a discharge point downstream such as a pop-up emitter, or to percolate into the ground with a dry well or infiltration trench.

The large catch basin is made with polyethylene and built tough to handle the demands of residential, commercial, and industrial environments. Connects to 3” – 12” drain pipes with designated outlet adapters (sold separately) for a soil-tight fit. Flow capacity will vary based on pipe size. Use with 24” catch basin drain grate (sold separately) to block debris from entering and clogging the drainage system; load rating will vary based on grate.
